Situation

Cyclopark struggled to increase visitor engagement and improve fundraising potential.

Task

My role was to identify key areas for improvement through reviews and stakeholder interviews, establishing both tactical and strategic solutions.

Action

Usability assessment

Conducted heuristic reviews of the Cyclopark website to identify usability and engagement challenges.

Brainstorming for solutions

Led ideation sessions using "How might we?" questions to explore potential improvements in visitor engagement and fundraising.

Stakeholder collaboration

Worked closely with Cyclopark representatives to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations for the facility.

Actionable insights

Synthesised feedback into clear, actionable insights, categorising them into quick tactical actions and long-term strategic initiatives.

Key recommendations

Suggested implementing specific features such as a prominent "Donate NOW" button, better visibility for the Cyclopark Charity Trust.

Results

The client has responded positively to the proposed changes. Once implemented, these changes are expected to increase visitor engagement and fundraising capabilities.

The anticipated improvements in website navigation and content strategies should lead to better visitor retention and increased donation actions.

The strategic initiatives aim to position Cyclopark as a leading community and public health partner in the region
